Meek Mill would have to continue serving time in prison because the judge in his case has once again turned down his request to be freed on bail.

Judge Genece Brinkley, who has come under the scanner of an investigation for being biased against the rapper, rejected the application without assigning any reasons. Meek has been in prison since November for a probation violation which was also awarded by the same judge.

Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, tells TMZ, “This ruling from Judge Genece Brinkley simply reaffirms the fact she has turned Meek Mill’s case into a personal vendetta.” He continued, “In spite of the recommendations from the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, which was supported by Governor Tom Wolf, the judge continues to stand alone in supporting Officer Reginald Graham’s perjured testimony as well as his criminal behavior that has been documented.”

Meek’s legal team will be appealing to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to get him released. Back in December, Judge Genece Brinkley had denied Meek Mill’s request for an emergency bail hearing, writing that the rapper is “flight risk” and “a danger to the community.”
