BARACK OBAMA NAMES KENDRICK, JAY-Z, TRAVIS SCOTT, SZA & MORE IN 2017 ‘FAVORITE SONGS’ LIST

Former President Barack Obama has continued the tradition from every year of naming his favorite music for 2017 as well. Writing on his Facebook page, Obama shared a list of songs he loved the most these past twelve months.

“During my presidency, I started a tradition of sharing my reading lists and playlists,” BARACK OBAMA wrote on his Facebook page Sunday. “It was a nice way to reflect on the works that resonated with me and lift up authors and artists from around the world. With some extra time on my hands this year to catch up, I wanted to share the books and music that I enjoyed most.”

Obama’s list is diverse — it includes traditional rap songs like ‘HUMBLE’ from Kendrick Lamar & ‘Family Feud’ by Jay-Z and turn up tunes like ‘Unforgettable’ from French Montana & ‘Butterfly Effect’ by Travis Scott to Pop jams like ‘Mi Gente’ J Balvin & Willy William and ‘Havana’ by Camila Cabello. Even a Country track (Chris Stapleton’s ‘Millionaire’) made the list.

There are some R&B songs on the list as well — Frank Ocean’s ‘Chanel’, SZA’s ‘Broken Clocks’, ‘Blessed’ by Daniel Caesar and more.
