When you hear the word ‘William Shakespeare’, you remember the man who created words and life in theater. The series is about the life he led as a young man; a young Will from a little town in England who dreamt he could be great left his wife, his kids, and his home to go pursue his dreams whilst trying to hide the fact that he was a Catholic.
The story is of a man trying to fulfill his dreams despite all the challenges he faced for his religion, and for being a writer. A playwright.
If you watch this series, you’ll find yourself experiencing new life in the ways of the past. The urge to speak only the Shakespearean language will be so pulling, you’ll find your mind working to insert this new way of life into yours.
It’s witty, dirty, enlightening and above all, delightful to watch.
